Hello everybody.
I am a currently a Wordfence user, both the free version on most sites and the premium version on some sites.
The sucuri plugin is also used together on some sites, as it can identify some changes that go unnoticed by Wordfence.
I recently picked up a site with All in One Security & Firewall and was impressed with some of the features it has.
When researching the Premium version of AIOS I saw that it still has what the free version lacks: malware scanning and cloud firewall.
Due to the number of AIOS users (more than 1 million installations in the free version) it would be very interesting to have an extension for it in MainWP.
I'll talk about some functions that I liked in the plugin:
Free Version:
Web Application Firewall (in the htaccess file)
Content Protection: iFrame, Content Copy and Spam Prevent
Login Page Hiding
Blacklist Functionality
Maintenance Mode
Robots Verification, Honeypots and possibility to use Cloudflare´s invisible captcha: Turnstitle
Users Audit: View activity by username, IP address, login and logout dates and times. See a list of users currently logged in, and a list of all failed login attempts.
Force User Logouts
Stop User Enumeration
WordPress Salts Security: adds 64 new characters to WordPress Salts and changes them weekly
Prevent image hotlinking
Audit Logs
Premium Version:
Malware Scanner
Multisite Compatible
Blacklists Alerts
Support for login forms: Support for WooCommerce and Affiliates-WP, Elementor Pro, bbPress and all third-party login forms
Block bots producing 404s
Country Blocking and whitelist some users from blocked countries
Traffic Blocking to specific pages
Low Price for many sites
I believe it combines features from several plugins:
Wordfence: firewall (even if not as efficient in the free version)
iThemes Security: Built-in security features
Sucuri: Scanning files and blacklists
WP Site Protector: Content Copying Prevention
And it is maintained by Updraft WP Software Ltd. (from the same guys at Updraft Backups).
And it has an interesting price.
I believe that many MainWP users must use AIOS and that an extension for it will be very useful.
Regards.
