@Greg Dietrich Since the MainWP API Backups Extension is currently in BETA, once we make sure everything is in working order with basic backups we’ll start adding other things into the workflow. In order to accommodate "Remote Backup Destinations" each 3rd-Party Backup Provider API will need to facilitate the ability to store remotely since they are actually the ones doing the backups & storing the data.
However, it does appear the GridPane UI allows for adding 'Remote Destinations' & their API appears to also support this - so it's a good possibility this will eventually make it to the roadmap.

It would be awesome to see some offload options for the Backup API to S3 instances like Backblaze, Wasabi, or Amazon.
Use case: When you run a backup from the dashboard, instead of saving the backup to the server (Gridpane in my case), it would offload the backup to an S3 bucket, thus saving drive space and creating a better safety net if the server is torched.
